Effective date: May 7, 2026. Recipe Multiplier is a mobile app for converting and scaling recipe ingredients. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
Recipe Multiplier can use your camera or photo library when you choose to import a recipe from a photo or image. Images are used to read recipe text and convert it into editable ingredients.
The app can also store recipes, favorites, settings, language preferences, measurement preferences, and ad-free status on your device.
Recipe text recognition is designed to run on your device using native OCR. Recipe images and recognized ingredient text are not uploaded to a Recipe Multiplier server.
Saved recipes are stored locally on your device unless a future version clearly adds an optional cloud sync feature.
If you buy the ad-free version, the purchase is handled by Google Play. Recipe Multiplier uses Google Play Billing to check purchase and restore status. Payment details are handled by Google Play and are not collected by Recipe Multiplier.
Recipe Multiplier may show ads through Google AdMob unless you have purchased the ad-free version. AdMob may process device identifiers, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and related information according to Google policies.
Recipe Multiplier may request camera access only when you choose to take a recipe photo.
Recipe Multiplier may request photos or media access only when you choose to import an existing recipe image.
You can deny these permissions, but photo-based recipe import may not work without them.
Recipe Multiplier does not sell your personal information. Recipe Multiplier does not operate its own backend database for version 1. Third-party services such as Google Play Billing and Google AdMob may process information as needed to provide purchases, restore purchases, ads, fraud prevention, diagnostics, and platform services.
Recipe Multiplier is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13.
This policy may be updated as the app changes. If cloud sync, account login, or additional integrations are added later, this policy should be updated before release.
