The short answer
Because a website only brings in work when someone keeps watching it and adjusting it. A one-time build launches and then sits. Our monthly plans cover the custom build and hosting, plus the part most sites never get: tracking what brings in calls, keeping the Google Business Profile current, a monthly growth report, and changes every few weeks based on what the numbers show.
Most small business sites are a postcard
Most small business websites I see are not much more than a postcard with contact details on it. They went live, nobody looked at them again, and they sit so far back in Google that nobody finds them.
You can build a site yourself. WordPress will do it, and so will the new AI website builders. The build is not the hard part anymore. The hard part is knowing what to put on it, structuring it so search engines understand it, and then watching what works and changing what does not.
What the monthly work actually is
After launch I watch clicks, impressions and where each client shows up, in Google and Bing and in AI assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Copilot. Every few weeks I adjust based on what is working. Every month each client gets a growth report that shows how things are performing, what is working, what is not and what we should change.
- Google Business Profile upkeep, the most valuable free thing a local business can do
- Blog posts written from your real jobs, not filler
- Search and AI-search visibility checks
- An honest answer on whether ads make sense yet, and a close eye on spend if they do
Ads are not the first fix
A lot of owners think ads will solve their problems. If the foundation is not built yet, ads just send paid clicks to a site that does not convert and a phone nobody answers. Get found, answer fast and follow up first. Then ads have something to work with.
Doing it yourself has a cost
I hear it all the time: I can just do that myself. Of course you can. The real question is how long it takes to learn website builds, SEO, AI search, content, social posting and ad management, and what that time costs you in the field instead of growing the company.
The owners who pull ahead are the ones who understand they cannot be a one-man band. You can do everything yourself, but it puts a ceiling on your income and your growth. Plans, setup fees and inclusions are on the Pricing page.
